General School Rules
These rules exist to keep the school safe, orderly and fair for every child. We ask parents to read them with their children at the start of each session.
Attendance and timing
- School hours are 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Students should arrive at least ten minutes before the first bell.
- A minimum of 75% attendance is expected across the session.
- Leave of absence must be applied for in writing by a parent or guardian.
- A child who is unwell should stay at home and the school should be informed.
Uniform and appearance
- The prescribed school uniform is to be worn, clean and complete, on all working days.
- Identity cards must be carried daily.
- Hair should be kept neat; jewellery and valuables should not be brought to school.
Conduct
- Students are expected to be respectful towards teachers, staff, visitors and one another.
- Bullying, abusive language and any form of physical aggression are treated seriously.
- School property, furniture, books and the campus are to be looked after; damage must be reported.
- Mobile phones are not permitted on the campus without the Principal's permission.
Academics
- Homework and assignments are to be completed and submitted on time.
- The school diary must be brought daily and shown to parents when asked.
- Parents are requested to attend parent–teacher meetings.
Note: The school reserves the right to revise these rules. Any change is communicated to parents through the school diary and circulars.
