Academics at SRKPCS

We follow a CBSE-pattern, English-medium curriculum built around understanding rather than memorisation. Classes are kept attentive and personal, so a teacher can tell when a child has genuinely understood something and when they have only repeated it.

Stages of learning

Primary	I – V	Reading fluency, numeracy, environmental studies, computers, art and music
Middle	VI – VIII	Science, Mathematics, Social Science, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, computer education
Secondary	IX – X	Board-pattern preparation with regular assessment and remedial support

How we assess

Continuous classroom assessment rather than a single end-of-year verdict.
Periodic unit tests, half-yearly and annual examinations.
Written feedback to parents, plus parent–teacher meetings through the year.
Extra support for children who need more time, instead of letting them fall behind.

Beyond the textbook

Our students do not only read about science — they build. Working models presented at our science exhibition, including a student-built rocket, come from children who were encouraged to ask "how does this actually work?"
